About us

Green Planet Veteran Farms is proposed as a small scale, certified organic produce farm growing and selling oyster mushrooms and a unique variety of heirloom and specialty garden vegetables through local farmers’ markets, CSA’s (Community Supported Agriculture subscriptions) and direct to upscale restaurants. Green Planet Veteran Farms will be established as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) based in Warner Robbins, Georgia, owned and operated by Timothy Anderson.

Green Planet Veteran Farms' farming operation will consist of two distinct production methods. Organic oyster mushrooms will be grown indoors in a 20 X 40 foot greenhouse and stored in a walk in cooler until delivery. Organic vegetables will be grown outdoors in raised beds filled with organic soil. All production will be certified organic by the Georgia Crop Improvement Association.

Green Planet Veteran Farms will also produce a variety of organic heirloom and specialty vegetables, including carrots, squash, garlic, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts. These will be grown outdoors in raised beds and certified organic. Considerable demand exists for organic foods, including vegetables, accompanied by premium prices for unique varieties. Vegetable production will provide extra income for the farm from late spring through early fall and allow us to make productive use of time not devoted to mushroom production.
